Job summary

Gil-Mar Manufacturing in Canton, MI is seeking a Shipping & Pack Hi-Lo Driver for the 1st shift. The role requires forklift operation, order picking, packing, and coordinating with the Shipping & Receiving team.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of Hi-Lo experience, with ability to read a tape measure. Safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection are required on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years operating Hi-Lo/Forklift.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and follow instructions.
• Must have good attendance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete Lift Truck Operators Daily Inspection Report every morning.
• Provide material handling to PACK Team; prep, staging, warehouse allocation of finished goods.
• Stage finished material for current or next shipment.
• Load and unload incoming trucks; verify outgoing loads per pick sheet.
• Assist in scanning outgoing material; count and verify incoming dunnage.
• Band and load baskets; maintain a clean, orderly yard.
• Count units and check product identity per pick list; pack products securely.
• Transport picked orders to staging area; perform ship/receive transactions for inventory accuracy.
