Job summary

GlobalPoint HC is seeking a CT Technologist for the Diagnostic Imaging team in Hawaii. Must hold Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT CT certification, with BLS and at least two years of acute hospital experience. Roles include performing routine CT scans, venipuncture, and 3D imaging per radiologist protocols.

Shifts are 10 hours and varied; no RTO during the first 13 weeks of contract. Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon and Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as radiographer.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of two years' work experience in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Scan CT studies per radiologist protocols and achieve routine CT images.
• Operate CT equipment and software independently.
• Contribute to patient care in a high-volume hospital setting.

Job description

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. NO RTO WILL BE GRANTED IN THE FIRST 13 WEEKS OF CONTRACT Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment. Licensure: A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer. Certification: A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT certification in Computed Tomography, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Shifts: shifts may vary by need. No call General Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an acute hospital setting. Must be able to scan per radiologist protocols, perform at minimum routine CT scans, and function independently without supervision. Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred. Experience with venipuncture, performing MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging, procedures like biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke a plus.
