Always Compassionate Health in Newburgh, NY is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our growing team. You'll provide in-home care following each client's Plan of Care, assist with daily living activities, and promote independence and safety for clients at home.

We offer flexible scheduling including full-time, part-time, per diem and live-in opportunities, with starting pay of $18.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and NYS HHA/PCA certification.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful disposition.
• Dependable, trustworthy and good communicator.
• Able to follow individualized Plan of Care and agency policies.
• Comfortable working in client homes with elderly or disabled clients.

Responsabilités

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.

You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients while helping them remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own homes. ### What You'll DoFollowing each client's individualized Plan of Care, you may:* Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care needs.* Help clients safely walk, transfer, reposition, and move throughout their homes.* Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition.* Provide light housekeeping and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe home environment.* Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.* Help clients maintain as much independence as possible.* Remind clients to take medications as directed in their Plan of Care.* Assist with approved errands and community activities.* Support clients participating in **NHTD and TBI waiver programs** when assigned.* Use approved medical supplies and equipment when appropriate.* Assist with treatments or therapy activities when ordered and authorized.* Observe clients and report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate clinical team.* Complete required documentation accurately and on time.* Communicate with clients, families, nurses, coordinators, and other members of the care team.### Who We're Looking ForWe are looking for caregivers who are not only qualified, but who genuinely enjoy helping others. You should be:* **18 years of age or older.*** A certified **New York State Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide**, as applicable.* Compassionate, patient, and respectful.* Dependable and trustworthy.* A good communicator and listener.* Comfortable working independently in a client's home.* Able to follow an individualized Plan of Care and agency policies.* Professional in appearance and conduct.* Comfortable working with elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and clients with varying healthcare needs.
