Always Compassionate Health is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our growing team in Middletown, NY. We offer flexible full-time, part-time, per diem, and live-in opportunities with varied caseloads and programs including NHTD/TBI.

Starting pay is $18.65 per hour with location- and assignment-based variation. If you are compassionate and reliable, you can help clients stay safe and independent at home while receiving support from experienced clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Certified NYS Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide as applicable.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful disposition.
• Dependable and trustworthy with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and other personal care.
• Help clients walk, transfer, reposition, and move safely at home.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding and maintain nutrition.
• Provide light housekeeping and keep a clean, safe home.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Encourage client independence as much as possible.
• Remind meds per Plan of Care and assist with approved errands.
• Support clients in NHTD and TBI waiver programs when assigned.
• Observe changes and report to clinical team; complete documentation.

You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients while helping them remain comfortable, safe, and independent in their own homes. ### What You'll DoFollowing each client's individualized Plan of Care, you may:* Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care needs.* Help clients safely walk, transfer, reposition, and move throughout their homes.* Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition.* Provide light housekeeping and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe home environment.* Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.* Help clients maintain as much independence as possible.* Remind clients to take medications as directed in their Plan of Care.* Assist with approved errands and community activities.* Support clients participating in **NHTD and TBI waiver programs** when assigned.* Use approved medical supplies and equipment when appropriate.* Assist with treatments or therapy activities when ordered and authorized.* Observe clients and report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate clinical team.* Complete required documentation accurately and on time.* Communicate with clients, families, nurses, coordinators, and other members of the care team.### Who We're Looking ForWe are looking for caregivers who are not only qualified, but who genuinely enjoy helping others. You should be:* **18 years of age or older.*** A certified **New York State Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide**, as applicable.* Compassionate, patient, and respectful.* Dependable and trustworthy.* A good communicator and listener.* Comfortable working independently in a client's home.* Able to follow an individualized Plan of Care and agency policies.* Professional in appearance and conduct.* Comfortable working with elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and clients with varying healthcare needs.
