Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is hiring a caregiver for day shifts on weekends in Florida. The role focuses on non-medical support, companionship, and assistance with ADLs, light housekeeping, meals, and medication reminders.

You will establish relationships with clients and families while following company policies and ensuring punctual, reliable coverage. The position requires a Florida CNA license or HHA certification, current First Aid & CPR, and a Level 2 AHCA background clearance.

Qualifications

• CNA license or Florida-certified HHA required.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• TB test negative (PPD) within last 6 months.
• Pass Level 2 background check in Florida AHCA clearinghouse.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Memory Care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.
• Assist clients with ADL's, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Establish communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Adhere to policies and procedures set by office administration.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts.

Service areas: Palm Bay, Melbourne (West), Melbourne (Viera areas) and Beachside

As a Caregiver with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will:

• Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.

• Assist clients with ADL's, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

• Establish communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and co-workers.

• Adhere to policies and procedures set by office administration.

• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• CNA License (Florida) or certified HHA (Florida) required

• Current FIRST AID & CPR certification

• Current TB (negative PPD results) in the last 6 months

• Pass criminal record and Level 2 background in AHCA clearinghouse.
