Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is hiring CNAs and HHAs to provide compassionate in-home care in Lake Worth, Florida. The role requires Level 2 background screening and state-accepted credentials (CNA or HHA).

You’ll support daily living activities, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, while enjoying paid training and flexible scheduling. We value caring, reliable individuals with strong patient communication.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience with Hoyer lift, personal care, ROM exercises, companionship, and light housework.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist patients with daily living activities.
• Dresses, bathes, provides grooming support and mobility assistance.
• Prepares meals, accompanies patients to appointments and runs errands.
• Performs housekeeping tasks and assists with medications reminders.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to
• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance

• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation
