Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate CNAs and HHAs in Lake Worth, Florida to join our care team. This role provides personal care, meal prep, transportation assistance, light housekeeping, and hospice support under supervision of a franchisee.

Requirements include CNA license or HHA certificate with Palm Beach County badge, valid driver's license, background check, TB or chest X-ray, CPR, and reliable transportation. We offer flexible schedules, paid training, overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license or HHA certificate and Palm Beach County badge.
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID; auto insurance and vehicle registration.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check required.
• CPR card (in-person) and TB or Chest X-ray; Alzheimer’s/HIV/medication CEU.
• 1 letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities including hygiene, ambulation, dressing.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Assists with errands, medical appointments, and transportation.
• Performs housekeeping: vacuuming, laundry, dishes, cleaning bathroom.
• Provides hospice supportive care and medication reminders.
• Uses lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
  • Personal Hygiene
• • Ambulation/Transfers
• • Dressing/Shaving
• • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
  • Medication reminders
• • Assisting with exercises
• • Incontinence care
• • Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

Requirements:

• CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
• Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
• Auto Insurance
• Vehicle Registration
• CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
• TB or Chest X-ray
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
• 1 letter of recommendation

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
