Job summary

Senior Helpers is hiring CNAs and HHAs for part-time and PRN work to care for clients in their homes and one-on-one in facilities. Join a caring team with flexible hours and competitive pay.

You will perform companionship, light housekeeping, ADL assistance, and transport duties while maintaining client dignity and safety. Ideal candidates have prior home care or facility experience, CPR, a state background check, and the ability to clock in using a smartphone.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in private duty home care or facility care (1 year or more).
• Commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect.
• Reliable transportation is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Level 2 Florida background screen is required.
• HIV/Alzheimer’s CEUs completed in the last 2 years.
• Ability to use a smartphone to clock in and out for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through engaging activities, conversation, and walks.
• Perform light housekeeping and some laundry as needed.
• Report any changes to the office during shifts.
• Transport clients using their vehicle or personal vehicle; run errands.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Care for clients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
• Clock in and out using a mobile device.
• Maintain communication with the office.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Companionship (playing games, talking going for walks with clients)
• Light housekeeping Only with doing some laundry
• Reporting to office any changes with clients during shift
• Transportation using client's vehicle or personal vehicle, Running Errands
• Meal planning and preparation
• Working with Alzheimer’s & Dementia clients
• Using mobile device to clock in and out for shifts
• Communication with office
• Assistance with ADL's (Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, transfers)

Qualifications

• Previous experience with Private Duty home care and or working in a facility 1 year or more
• Commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect.
• Reliable Transportation
• Valid driver’s license a plus
• Active CPR certification (skilled, hands-on)
• Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida.
• Completed HIV/ Alzheimer’s CEU's in the last 2 years
• Able to use a smart phone to clock in and out for shifts that are completed

Able to pass a Home Health Aide competency test and practical
