Job summary

Senior Helpers in Titusville, FL is seeking CNAs and HHAs for part-time and PRN positions to provide in-home and one-on-one care in facilities. You will offer companionship, assist with ADLs, meal planning, light housekeeping, and transportation while reporting changes to the office.

Applicants should have prior private duty home care or facility experience, CPR certification, a Florida Level 2 background screen, HIV/Alzheimer’s CEUs within 2 years, and be able to clock in/out with a smartphone.

Qualifications

• Experience in private duty home care or working in a facility.
• CPR certification required.
• Florida Level 2 Background Screen completed.
• HIV/Alzheimer’s CEUs completed in last 2 years.
• Able to clock in/out via smartphone.
• Able to pass Home Health Aide competency test.

Responsibilities

• Companionship (games, conversation, walks).
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Report changes to office during shift.
• Transport clients using their or your vehicle; run errands.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Care for clients with Alzheimer’s & Dementia.
• Clock in and out using a mobile device.
• Communicate with office.
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Companionship (playing games, talking going for walks with clients)
• Light housekeeping Only with doing some laundry
• Reporting to office any changes with clients during shift
• Transportation using clients vehicle or personal vehicle, Running Errands
• Meal planning and preparation
• Working with Alzheimer’s & Dementia clients
• Using mobile device to clock in and out for shifts
• Communication with office
• Assistance with ADL's (Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, transfers)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Private Duty home care and or working in a facility 1 year or more
• Commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect.
• Reliable Transportation
• Valid driver’s license a plus
• Active CPR certification (skilled, hands-on)
• Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida.
• Completed HIV/ Alzheimer’s CEU's in the last 2 years
• Able to use a smart phone to clock in and out for shifts that are completed
• Able to pass a Home Health Aide competency test and practical
