Job summary

Compassionate Connections Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care across Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, meal planning, light housekeeping, and transportation, with a focus on safety and dignity.

The position is part-time/PRN, offering flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training, supportive supervision, and a collaborative team environment are provided to help you

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, patient, and reliable.
• Must pass Level 2 Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Transportation.
• Medication reminders.
• Monitor health status.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide high‑quality care to clients in their homes, to include:

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, patient, and reliable.
