Job summary
Maya Home Care in New Jersey seeks HHA certified caregivers to provide high-quality personal care and companionship in clients’ homes. This boutique PCA/Companion agency prioritizes compassionate, personalized care and offers flexible scheduling to fit your needs.
As a caregiver, you will follow individualized care plans, document care provided, and report changes to the care coordinator. NJ HHA/CHHA certification and reliable transportation are preferred for this role.
Qualifications
- HHA certification in New Jersey is required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CHHA certification preferred or required by posting agency.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing and meal prep.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home.
- Monitor health status and report changes to the care coordinator.
- Follow care plans with compassion and respect.
- Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate care documentation.
