Job summary

Maya Home Care is a New Jersey-based boutique PCA/Companion agency seeking HHA certified caregivers to join our growing team. You will provide high-quality personal care and companionship to clients in their homes, ensuring comfort, safety and well-being with compassion and reliability.

This position offers flexible scheduling, comprehensive training, and a supportive environment. Prior home care experience is preferred; NJ HHA certification is required to work with us.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey is required.
• CHHA certification in New Jersey is required.
• Background check clearance is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health status to the care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans and provide care with compassion and respect.
• Ensure clients' comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
