Spring Home at Galloway in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to provide non-clinical support and compassionate care for residents. You will assist with daily activities, meals, housekeeping, and social engagement to enhance residents' quality of life.

Collaborating with nursing staff, you will respond to calls, maintain a safe environment, and encourage independence while upholding dignity and respect for all residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare, customer service, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage residents through conversation and activities.
• Assist with daily living activities including bed making, tidying rooms, delivering linens, and ensuring items are accessible.
• Assist during mealtimes by serving meals and ensuring residents are comfortable.
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance and notify clinical staff as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free rooms and common areas.
• Support residents with personal care needs and ensure dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with nursing and care teams and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities, dining areas, or appointments.
• Support activity staff by helping residents participate in events and navigate to activities.

HHA certification required.The Home Health Aide is responsible for providing non-clinical support and assistance to residents in a healthcare or long-term care facility. This role involves helping residents with daily activities, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, and ensuring that their needs are met in a compassionate and respectful manner.
