Job summary

BSS, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver/Warehouse in Sheffield. You will safely transport stock, perform multi-drop deliveries, and return to the branch to reload for your next run. Our larger vehicles include HIABs, and HIAB training will be funded by the branch to ensure you are fully prepared for the job.

New drivers are welcome, with training provided. The role also supports on-shop trade counter duties when required, and the package includes bonuses, paid

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence with up-to-date CPC records.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo HIAB training and safety courses.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport stock to customers from branches.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries with regular reloads at branch.
• Operate HIAB crane if required and complete training funded by the branch.
• Assist at the trade counter when needed.

What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for safely and professionally transporting stock (mainly pipeline and heating products) from our branches to customers. This role involves multi-drop deliveries, with regular returns to the branch to reload for your next run. Our larger vehicles are equipped with HIABs (lorry-mounted cranes), and we'll fully fund your HIAB training to make sure you're fully prepared for the job! New drivers are welcome, and we'll provide all the training you need to succeed. You will also support on the trade counter when required.
