Job summary

Panda is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 driver to join the Sheffield team. This permanent, full-time role offers a 6:00am start with local site deliveries and no night shifts, providing steady, year-round work and a clear path for development within a leading waste management provider.

You will operate skip and RoRo vehicles, complete safety inspections, and use digital tablets to record routes and waste transfers.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) and Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card is required.
• New Pass drivers welcome with training and support.
• Solid understanding of driver compliance and daily defect checks.
• Flexible to 6am starts and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles.
• Deliver, exchange and collect containers at local sites.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly (DVSA compliance).
• Use tablet-based systems for job records and waste transfer notes.
• Provide professional, friendly customer service on-site.
• Support the wider transport and depot team at the Sheffield site.
