Child Crisis Arizona seeks a Family Support Specialist for the Healthy Families Program. You will visit enrolled families weekly, applying an evidence-based curriculum to strengthen parent-child bonding, promote healthy development, and support family goals. Flexibility for early mornings/evenings and some weekends is required.

The role emphasizes documentation, goal setting, and connecting families with community resources to foster self-sufficiency and lasting outcomes in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with prior experience in early childhood.
• Flexible schedule with early mornings or evenings when needed.
• Occasional weekends for program recruitment events.
• Multitasking and accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean 5-year motor vehicle history.
• Fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain before start.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Prior Home Visitation experience is desirable.
• Ability to quickly build trust and identify community resources.

The Healthy Families Program is ready to hire a Family Support Specialist to join our team.

We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals that are committed to improving the lives of new parents in the Healthy Families Program.

In this role you will be the home visitor providing direct service to enrolled families on a weekly basis. You will use an evidence based curriculum to talk with parents on ways to improve the bond between parent and child, positive discipline techniques, and childhood development. You will work with the family to set goals they want to accomplish as well as provide resources that help support the family as a whole. Our goal is to promote self-sufficiency for the family and setting that child up for future success in life.

Qualifications:

• An Associate’s degree with prior experience working with the early childhood population.
• The ability to be flexible with your schedule and meet the family when they are available. This can include some early mornings or early evening visits.
• The ability to work the occasional weekend attending community events for program recruitment
• Multi-tasking skills that will support proper documentation and note taking in a fast paced environment
• A clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver’s license.
• A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting

You are a star candidate if you have the above, and:

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Prior Home Visitation experience
• The ability to quickly build trust to gather information
• Knowledge of community resources to support families
