ThePettigrew Emergency Shelter and Permanent Supportive Housing offeringsprovide safe and secure housing while individuals and families completean assessment of permanent housing options. All Stephen Center residentshave access to dual diagnosis support services via the HEROaddiction/recovery program. 100% of Stephen Center shelter supportivehousing participants are living in poverty. Housing transition supportidentifies poverty barriers that may impact one’s ability to achieve ormaintain permanent housing through case management, life skills, andbehavioral health services. Stephen Center serves approximately 250people daily in all programs.

This position isresponsible for conducting clinical assessments, developing and implementingindividualized treatment plans, facilitating individual and grouppsychotherapy, and delivering both clinical and psychoeducational programmingon a daily basis. The therapist supports continuity of care across all levelsof programming (STR, IOP, and OP) while maintaining accurate and timelyclinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

The Licensed Social Worker is expected to function within a structured,team-based environment, actively engaging in interdisciplinary collaborationand balancing clinical judgment with program expectations. Services must alignwith evidence-based practices, CARF standards, and all applicable federal,state, and grant requirements. This role is a key contributor to programculture, client engagement, and overall treatment outcomes, with clearexpectations for consistency, accountability, and professionalism inmaintaining a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented environment. Additionalduties may be assigned to support program operations and client care.
