Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is hiring a Here For You Caregiver (CNA) to provide companionship and assist residents with daily needs at our Here For You of Statesman Club location in Oklahoma City. You will support residents with activities, escort them to appointments, and help with daily tasks while upholding dignity and independence.

The role requires English proficiency, compassionate care, and flexibility to work after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• CNA preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and associates.
• Must be available after regular working hours and work weekends and holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with companionship - playing games, watching TV, etc.
• Remind residents to take medications and assist with Activities of Daily Living (showers, dressing).
• Escort residents to appointments as needed.
• Provide assistance with light housekeeping tasks, telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Assist with casual cosmetic tasks - hair brushing, makeup, nail polish.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional/cognitive condition.
• Monitor environmental hazards and report incidents, errors, accidents.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service education, projects, and committees as assigned.

What does a Here For You Caregiver at Sagora do?
