Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join The Veraden community. CNAs support residents with daily living needs, maintain dignity, and promote independence. This role focuses on safety, comfort, and respectful care.

Requirements include CNA certification, English communication, and a caring, organized, multitasking approach. Weekends shifts are part of the schedule in a team-focused, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and meet state certification requirements.
• Ideal candidate is caring, organized, and able to multi-task.
• Six months of work experience in a retirement community setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid with daily tasks such as housekeeping, transportation, and laundry.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining: escort to dining room, serving, and cleanup.

What does a CNA at Sagora do?

• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assist in dining including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and clean up
