Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a Florida licensed Herbicide Spray Technician. The technician must hold a license in aquatic pest control, forestry pest control, natural areas weed management, ornamental and turf pest control, or right-of-way pest control.
Responsibilities include selecting and procuring herbicides, safely mixing them, and visually identifying invasive vegetation. Travel is 0–10%. You must pass a background check to access DoD facilities and be able to lift 25 lbs or more.
Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a Florida licensed Herbicide Spray Technician. The Herbicide Spray Technician must be licensed in one of the following: aquatic pest control, forestry pest control, natural areas weed management, ornamental and turf pest control, and/or right-of-way pest control.
Technicians must be experienced with the procurement, mixing, and herbicide selection for target species. The primary invasive plant species involved in this work include Brazilian pepper, Cogon grass, Australian pine, Chaste tree/Vitex, Old World Climbing fern, Lead tree, Mimosa, Rosary pea, Wedelia, and Castor bean.
The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $25.09 per hour for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $20.00 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. This amount represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting
