Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a Florida licensed Herbicide Spray Technician. The Herbicide Spray Technician must be licensed in one of the following: aquatic pest control, forestry pest control, natural areas weed management, ornamental and turf pest control, and/or right-of-way pest control.
Technicians must be experienced with the procurement, mixing, and herbicide selection for targetedspecies. The primary invasive plant species involved in this work include Brazilian pepper, Cogon grass, Australian pine, Chaste tree/Vitex, Old World Climbing fern, Lead tree, Mimosa, Rosary pea, Wedelia, and Castor bean.
The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $25.09 per hour for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $20.00 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations.
