Job summary

Danella Rail Services Corp. is seeking an experienced Herbicide Applicator for our DOT and Railroad Division. This role involves treating weeds on railroad projects, mixing herbicides, calibrating spray equipment, and maintaining strict safety protocols.

Daily reporting is required, with extended travel periods of 4–6 weeks. Qualified candidates will have passed a physical exam and drug screen, hold a valid driver’s license with DOT clearance, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass DOT physical and background check.
• Must be able to lift at least 90 lbs.

OVERVIEW

Danella Rail Services is now hiring a right of way Herbicide Applicator for our DOT and Railroad Division. Previous experience and current herbicide license preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main duty will be to treat weeds, grass, and brush on assigned railroad projects. In addition, you will be responsible for mixing herbicides and calibrating all spray and truck equipment. As an expert in all things related to herbicides, you will be sure to perform all duties in compliance to safety guidelines. Daily reporting will be required.

• Must be willing to travel. For this position travel can be 4-6 weeks overnight at a time

QUALIFICATIONS

• All successful candidates will have passed both a physical examination and drug / alcohol screen.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license and be able to pass DOT physical along with a background check.
• Must be able to lift at least 90 lbs.
