Job summary

Banner University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our hepatology and transplant team. The APP will manage outpatient hepatology and pre-liver transplant patients, with potential inpatient rotation as needed.

Join a multidisciplinary team with surgical staff, pharmacists, nurses, dietitians and social workers, and take part in weekly committees and conferences to advance transplant care.

Qualifications

NP/PA experience in Hepatology and/or Liver Transplant preferred.
New grads welcome with RN critical care or specialty experience.
Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license.
Active Arizona NP license required.
Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide medical management to advanced liver disease and pre-transplant patients.
Primarily outpatient role with potential inpatient rotation.
Collaborate with transplant surgeons, pharmacists, nurses, dietitians and coordinators.
Consult with Infectious Disease, Cardiology and Interventional Radiology.
Participate in transplant-related conferences and rounds.
