Job summary

Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) in Waltham, MA to lead HEOR strategy and evidence generation for market access and pricing.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to influence formulary decisions and reimbursement strategies, guiding economic models and payer communications. The role requires an advanced degree and 10+ years in HEOR/outcomes research, with preference for hospital antibiotic/critical care

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medicine, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacy Administration or related scientific field.
10+ years of HEOR/outcomes research experience in pharma/biotech.
Experience with hospital antibiotic/critical care products preferred.
Experience interacting with hospitals and payer decision makers with US reimbursement knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across the organization to inform market access, pricing, reimbursement and evidence-generation strategies.
Monitor HEOR/payer landscape to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Design HEOR strategies demonstrating product value to US hospital systems and formulary decision-makers.
Collaborate with Market Access and Commercial teams to identify HEOR evidence needs across the product lifecycle.
Develop value-based contracting approaches for payer strategies (pharmacy, medical, quality).
Lead economic model development and present to formulary teams.
Conduct database analyses (registries, epidemiology, claims) and support observational studies.
