The Associate Director role is within HEOR’s Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE), a specialized team that provides strategic and technical support to HEOR, Market Access & Pricing, and the broader commercial organization. In this role, the Associate Director will primarily support HEOR disease/asset teams in real‑world observational and claims data research activities. The Associate Director will support colleagues looking to answer key questions that can be addressed using Vertex’s in‑licensed RWE data assets. This includes planning and conducting analyses to inform on questions related to disease prevalence, disease burden and progression, healthcare resource utilization and costs, and treatment patterns in ‘real world’ patient populations. The Associate Director is also expected to provide methodological expertise to research design, including development of study protocols, analysis plans, and table shells. This role will work closely with a team of statistical programmers to lead the execution of data queries and analyses. The Associate Director may also provide input to global product value strategy and tactics as well as provide input to design and interpretation of post‑hoc clinical trial analyses and evidence generation studies. The role has flexibility to be in‑person, hybrid, or remote.
Leverage Vertex’s in‑licensed RWE data assets to conduct queries and analyses to support the Vertex product portfolio and development programs across a range of therapeutic and disease areas. Research initiatives include the following:
Pay Range: $172,000 - $258,000
Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
