Medxcel, a leading healthcare facilities management partner, seeks a licensed journeyman electrician for the Henry Ford Main Hospital in Detroit, MI. You will diagnose, install, and maintain electrical systems to NFPA, NEC, and TJC standards and support hospital operations.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License – required.
• 3 years of related experience with licensure.
• High School diploma or trade school graduate (required).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, install, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, and TJC standards.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, including scheduling, reporting, and updating system documentation.
• Respond to emergency situations and power outages, ensuring safe resolution and operational continuity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, install, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, and TJC standards and supporting overall system reliability.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, including scheduling, reporting, and updating system documentation and training materials.
• Respond to emergency situations and power outages, ensuring safe resolution and maintaining operational continuity.
• Identify and recommend long‑term system improvements and cost‑saving strategies, including support of energy management systems.
• Communicate work status and technical guidance to stakeholders, while maintaining tools, equipment, and readiness to support multi‑site operations.
• Support team and organizational initiatives by leading or contributing to special projects, training staff, and participating in ongoing development activities.

Qualifications

License
