Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Hemodialysis Technician to support RN-led patient care during dialysis. The role involves maintaining and disinfecting dialysis equipment, stocking supplies, and assisting with in-patient dialysis; it is full-time with a variable shift (7a–7:30p).

Candidates should have a current BLS, dialysis training or certification, CNA preferred, and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

The Hemodialysis Technician is an unlicensed health care provider responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse in the care of patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment within scope of practice. Responsibilities include maintenance and disinfection of dialysis equipment, ordering and stocking supplies necessary for in- patient dialysis treatment. Monitoring and cleaning supply area as well as other duties as assigned.

1. 1. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
2. 2. One year of hemodialysis experience preferred.
3. 3. Hemodialysis Technician Certification, or equivalent training.
4. 4. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate preferred.
5. 5. High School Diploma or equivalent.
