Responsibilities

The Hemodialysis Technician is an unlicensed healthcare provider responsible for assisting in the care of patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment within their scope of practice. Responsibilities include maintenance and disinfection of dialysis equipment, ordering and stocking supplies necessary for inpatient dialysis treatment, monitoring and cleaning the supply area, as well as other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current status
  • One year of hemodialysis experience preferred
  • Hemodialysis Technician Certification; training will be considered
