Scheduled Weekly Hours:

30 Join Gundersen Health System and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients! We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become a valued member of our growing team.

Position Highlights:

  • Part-time, 30 hours per week
  • 12-hour shifts with every third Saturday and every other holiday scheduled
  • Flexible, unit-specific scheduling—no fixed or permanent schedules
  • Starting pay at $18.31 per hour, with additional compensation for experience
  • Shift differentials: $1.00 for PM shifts, $2.00 for night shifts, and $1.50 for weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vascular access procedures under RN mentorship
  • Follow RN guidance on patient target fluid loss
  • Monitor and report changes in vital signs to the RN
  • Observe patients throughout dialysis treatments
  • Set up dialysis equipment
  • Accurately document patient information

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months patient care experience
  • Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) certification required within 18 months of hire (on-the-job training available)
  • Current BLS CPR certification
