Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide quality treatment to all patients in a professional manner
• Participate in the teaching/training program(s)
• Communicate with administrators, and Physicians to facilitate practice operations
• Participate in team effort to guarantee efficient services to patients
• Conforms to the ethical code of conduct of his/her professional organization, to the Wayne Health Corporate Compliance Program and all standards of the Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and to clinic policies and procedures
• Maintains a current professional license, professional liability insurance at limits required by Wayne Health Credentialing as applicable
• Attend meetings and training as requested including participation in mandatory annual Wayne Health training in such areas as: recipient rights, confidentiality, corporate compliance, prevention of violence and management of unsafe behaviors, and cultural competence
• Participates in professional development activities and keeps current with healthcare trends and practices
• Obeys confidentiality as required by all federal, state, regulatory and Wayne Health policies
• Perform related duties as assigned

Education, Licensure/Certification, and Training:

• Licensed M.D. or D.O. Board eligible

• High level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal, necessary to effectively communicate, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with people inside and outside the Department and/or Practice

All newly hired employees are required to have received their first vaccination dose prior to their start date of employment and completed primary series as outlined in FDA’s prescribing instruction for vaccine administration. New hires must also receive their booster within 30 days after the date that they are eligible to receive it, per CDC guidelines. Exemptions or accommodations to the Wayne Health vaccine requirement may be approved under certain limited circumstances. Anyone with an approved exemption must have weekly PCR COVID-19 testing on their own time and submit the results every Monday, before arriving at work. Employees whose positions are 100% remote are exempt from these requirements.
