Wayne Health in Detroit area seeks a licensed behavioral health clinician to provide evidenced-based individual psychotherapy, develop biopsychosocial assessments, and coordinate care with the treatment team.
Requires a Master’s in Social Work or Counseling, Michigan LMSW/LPC, and at least two years in behavioral health. The role emphasizes treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with community resources and third-party payers.

Conducts thorough clinical interviews to provide accurate diagnoses to patients. Development of person-centered treatment plan and delivery of evidenced based psychotherapy services, as clinically indicated. Evaluate patient’s biopsychosocial needs through completion of comprehensive assessments and make referrals to appropriate providers and/or community-based resources. Active members of patient’s care team and coordinates care with other team members. Maintains accurate and timely documentation in patients medical record in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Exemptions or accommodations to the Wayne Health vaccine requirement may be approved under certain limited circumstances. Anyone with an approved exemption must have weekly PCR COVID-19 testing on their own time and submit the results every Monday, before arriving at work. Employees whose positions are 100% remote are exempt from these requirements.
