Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking an AP/CP board-certified pathologist with hematopathology fellowship training to join the Division of Hematopathology at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. The role includes hematopathology sign-out, call duties, and teaching residents and fellows within a collaborative academic environment.

You will participate in didactic lectures, unknown slide conferences, and grand rounds, with opportunities for translational research and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in AP/CP with hematopathology fellowship training.
• Experience in sign-out for hematopathology is preferred.
• Academic involvement and teaching activities are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Hematopathology sign-out (bone marrow, tissue, blood/CSF) on a rotating basis.
• Shared Hematopathology call.
• 1-on-1 and group sign-out with fellows, residents, and students.
• Didactic lectures and conferences; supervise residents' presentations.
• Engage in translational research opportunities and mentorship.
