Job summary

The Division of Hematopathology in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is actively recruiting a staff hematopathologist.

The Division includes 43 hematopathologists, cytogeneticists, clinical pathologists and hematologists whose diverse clinical practice encompasses all aspects of hematopathology from both the internal Mayo Clinic practice and the Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) reference laboratory.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in hematopathology.
  • Strong diagnostic skills in bone marrow and/or lymph node pathology.
  • Willingness to participate in teaching and academic activities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in clinical teaching and academic activities.
  • Contribute to diagnostic hematopathology services across Mayo Clinic practice and reference lab.
  • Engage in translational research and professional development.

The Division of Hematopathology in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, isactively recruiting a staff hematopathologist. The Division includes 43 hematopathologists, cytogeneticists, clinical pathologists and hematologists whose diverse clinical practice encompasses all aspects of benign and malignant hematopathology from both the internal Mayo Clinic practice and the Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) reference laboratory. Qualified candidates must be American Board of Pathology-board certified/eligible in Hematopathology. Candidates must possess solid diagnostic skills in bone marrow and/or lymph node pathology. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in clinical teaching and academic activities. This would include junior candidates who intend to develop a career focused on Hematopathology as well as mid-career candidates who have a proven clinical record and strong academic interests. Both recent graduates and experienced pathologists are encouraged to apply.
