Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Thought Leader Liaison (Hemato­logy) to build strategic relationships with external experts across the US, spanning academic and community oncology settings. You will generate insights, translate science to action, and support brand strategy through advisory boards, congress engagements, and regional thought leader networks, with broad travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences, business, or related field.
• 10+ years in field sales, marketing, or medical roles in pharma/biotech.
• Oncology experience required.
• Ability to travel 60–80%, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional external expert engagement plans designed to build long-term partnerships while generating meaningful commercial insights.
• Plan and execute External Expert engagements aligned to brand priorities and External Expert needs outside of advisory and congress events.
• Build regional brand advocacy segment and manage a thought leader network (network mapping).
• Gather and synthesize regional insights from external experts through forums and 1:1 interactions and provide them to the brand team.
• Coordinate and support advisory boards, expert consultancies, and congress engagements to inform commercial decisions.
• Partner with medical, legal, compliance, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure engagements align with policies.
• Manage multiple priorities and vendor partners to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
