Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy; Doctoral degree preferred.
• Residency training or 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care tailored to patient care areas.
• Interpret and clarify physicians’ medication orders; review profiles for safety/interactions.
• Recommend formulary alternatives based on clinical parameters with medical staff.
• Provide drug information; conduct discharge consultations; round with medical teams.
• Calculate dosages; verify orders; prepare compounded or sterile medications.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and interns; ensure accuracy and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve issues and assist in policy updates.
