Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, DE, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse Coordinator for the Hematology Oncology practice at the Helen F. Graham Center.

The CNC will enhance patient care coordination across oncology teams, tracking patient progress and serving as primary contact for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. The ideal candidate holds a BSN, at least three years of clinical experience (oncology preferred), and a multi-state RN license with BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Three years or more of combined clinical experience; oncology experience preferred.
• Multi-state RN License.
• BLS Required.
• Oncology Certification preferred or obtainment of Oncology specific hours per Commission on Cancer Standard requirements

Responsibilities

• Enhance patient care coordination across multidisciplinary oncology teams.
• Collaborate with providers across oncology, radiation, surgery, and supportive services to ensure seamless care.
• Track patient progress and serve as primary contact for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Provide comprehensive patient and family education on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care needs.
• Support clinical practice by mentoring staff and delivering direct patient care as appropriate.
