Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs invites applications for a Staff Hematologist/Oncologist at the VA Black Hills Health Care System in Fort Meade, SD.

The physician provides expert consultation and treatment in the outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic and collaborates with services across the medical center. Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) and recruitment/relocation incentives for highly qualified candidates; maintains board certification/eligibility and completes

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, full, unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and treatment in outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic.
• Coordinate care with other services in the VA Black Hills Health Care System.
• Provide feedback and consultation to multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend required meetings and complete CME and HIPAA training.
