Job summary

77 consultants seeks an Associate-level hematology/oncology physician for a contract, on-site position in Worcester, MA. You will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology services within a collaborative clinical environment, delivering diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of blood disorders and cancer.

The role requires MD or DO, board certification or eligibility, and active clinical experience, with strong communication and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
• Associate-level experience in hematology oncology clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat hematologic and oncologic patients.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (blood work, imaging, biopsies).
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Provide patient education and counseling on treatment options and care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Participate in clinical rounds, case reviews, and team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with medical practice standards, regulations, and protocols.
• Coordinate referrals to other specialists and healthcare services as required.
• Stay current with advances in hematology and oncology research and treatments.
