Presbyterian Medical Group in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology physician to join the Cancer Care Program. The role offers a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance, CME allowance, and fully paid malpractice insurance.

The position emphasizes an 80% office, 10% inpatient, 10% admin mix, with tumor board participation and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. NM license and NCCN-guideline adherence are required.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• BC/BE Medical Oncology and Hematology
• NM Medical License
• Demonstration of CARES behaviors and the practice of collaborative care
• 3-5 years minimum experience preferred

Responsabilités

• In alignment with NCCN guidelines, order and oversee diagnostic testing; prescribe treatment and supportive medications; collaborate with the care team to include palliative care, psychology, social work, PT, OT, Speech, dietician, nursing, research to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Oversee care provided by Advanced Practice Clinicians, as required by provider licensure.
• Participate in tumor board(s) is required.
• Participate in process improvement which drives standard of care across the continuum.
