Job summary

Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Hospitalist to join our established practice in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This role emphasizes inpatient rounding, collaboration with the hematology/oncology care team, and adherence to NCCN guidelines to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
• NM medical license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Order and oversee diagnostic testing per NCCN guidelines.
• Prescribe treatment and supportive medications.
• Collaborate with care team including palliative care, psychology, social work, PT, OT, Speech, dietitian, nursing.
• Oversee Advanced Practice Clinicians and participate in tumor boards.
