Job summary

The WVU Health System is recruiting Hematology/Oncology physicians to join the Elkins Corridor Medical Center and help expand cancer care in the region.

The successful candidate will practice hematology/oncology, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaborate with WVU Cancer Institute’s subspecialty network. Travel to additional sites in WV/MD/PA may be required to fulfill duties and grow the program in a medically underserved community.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and eligible for state medical license.
• Hematology/Oncology fellowship completed.
• Internal Medicine residency completed.
• Board certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Practice in Hematology/Oncology at Elkins Corridor Medical Center.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with WVU Cancer Institute network to advance cancer care.
