Job summary

WVU Medicine seeks a Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Elkins Corridor Medical Center in Elkins, West Virginia. The physician will practice hematology and oncology and participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Depending on needs, services may be provided at additional sites in WV, MD, and PA, with travel anticipated to support outreach. The candidate will hold an MD or DO, be board certified or eligible, and licensed to practice in the state.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligible for state medical license.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
• Board certified or eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Practice hematology/oncology and provide expert patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and academic settings.
• Collaborate with WVU Cancer Institute and other sites; participate in outreach as needed.
