Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology & Medical Oncology physician to join a growing, patient-centered cancer program in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Eligible for or able to obtain a West Virginia medical license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with benign and malignant hematologic disorders and solid tumor malignancies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing the latest evidence-based therapies.
• Administer and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and supportive care.
• Interpret laboratory studies, pathology reports, and diagnostic imaging.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, primary care providers, and other specialists to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
• Participate in tumor boards, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical program development.
• Actively teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using the electronic medical record.
