Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

Join a dedicated team at a leading medical center in Waterloo, Iowa! We are currently seeking a Locums Hematologist-Oncologist to work Full Time from July to August 2025. This facility offers a supportive environment with access to comprehensive medical services, including inpatient and outpatient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform consultations and follow-up care for patients.
• Oversee the administration of antineoplastics in the clinic.
• Coordinate with medical staff and provide necessary inpatient care when required.
• Utilize ancillary staff for support, including social workers and lab technicians.
• Manage a patient volume of 16-20 daily, primarily focused on adults aged 18 and older.
• Engage in teaching opportunities as available.
• Utilize Epic for electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Hematology Oncology - REQUIRED
• Active Iowa License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED
• Fellowship Trained in Hematology Oncology - REQUIRED
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Availability for full-time work in July and August 2025 is strongly preferred (candidates offering 1-2 weeks per month will be considered).
