Qualifications

Job description

Coverage Needed:

• June 30 - July 15, 2025
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • One weekday inpatient consult and night coverage; including day clinic
  • One night call per week
  • Possible Future 24-hour weekend call
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 12

Clinical Details:

• Number of Beds: 221
• EMR: EPIC Beacon
• Support Staff: Inpatient APP support during normal hours
• Types of Calls: In-House; Telephone
  • Call: must cover inpatients admitted for oncology reasons Monday to Friday; covering new inpatient consults and night call
• Average Admissions While On Call: 5
• Patient Load: 12-15 patients, including new and follow-up appointments
• Inpatient consult support on rounding on admitted patients
• Will work solo
• 100% Adults

Requirements:

• Board Certified Hematology and Oncology
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Must have a minimum of 3 days a week availability
• Active MD license or IMLC
• DEA, CSR
• Certifications Required: BLS
• Local candidates - Preferred
