Job description

Seeking BE/BC Hematology Oncology Physician to join our team in west central MO.

1. Assume an existing practice with a respected and experienced oncologist NP and our radiation oncologist, providing cancer care to a five-county region.
2. The Cancer Center features an advanced infusion center with 18 chair suites, two treatment rooms, procedure rooms, and a dedicated, certified chemo pharmacy, along with four physician offices.
3. The patient care area offers five exam rooms, a conference room, and a spacious waiting room.
4. Radiation oncology is provided on-site with a new, state-of-the-art Linear Accelerator.
5. Staffing includes experienced, oncology-certified nurses.
6. In-house Cancer Registry and resource room with a boutique offering prosthetics and wig fitting, among other services.
7. Foundation-supported charity programs provide numerous resources to our patients.
8. Monthly Cancer Conference.
9. The hospitalist team will provide in-patient coverage; the cancer center is located on the main hospital campus.
10. Diagnostic imaging services include MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mobile PET, x-ray, ultrasound, and 3D mammography, located on-site and in a new outpatient imaging center.
11. Stellar subspecialty support including full-service Cardiology, ENT, Oncology, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and more.
12. Academic appointment at the University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine is available for those interested, with opportunities to teach residents and medical students.
