Saginaw, Michigan, Hematology/Oncology Opening

• Clinical Role:
• Seeking skilled physicians interested in a fulfilling career committed to compassionate, patient-centered care. Positions are hospital-employed.
• Open due to increased volume and departure of a physician.
• Full-scope Medical Oncology and Hematology care with approximately 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient duties.
• Case mix includes about 30% Hematology and 70% Solid Tumor cases.
• Current patient census: outpatient clinics see about 25 patients; inpatient volume averages 5-10 patients.
• Practice comprises 3 full-time Medical Oncologists (covering Hematology and solid tumors) and 1 full-time Hematologist (focused on benign and malignant Hematology). The team is cohesive with minimal turnover and mentors available for new graduates.
• Foster peer-to-peer consult relationships, with dedicated medical assistants, clinic RNs, and inpatient NPs supporting each physician.
• As a regional referral center, the facility offers advanced cancer programs, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and support services, with satellite clinics requiring occasional travel.
• Potential academic affiliation due to proximity to medical students and residents, with ongoing research initiatives.
• Recognized for top 10% patient experience nationally, providing integrated services under one roof, including labs and imaging.
• Established, reputable group with modern facilities, shared call schedule, and dedicated inpatient and outpatient support.
