Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to help expand an already established practice with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology located in Rome, Georgia (about an hour Northwest of the Atlanta area). The practice is looking for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join our group, which is part of a large referral network.

This opportunity involves providing inpatient and outpatient services, seeing a wide variety of hematology and oncology patients with our team at AdventHealth Redmond, a 230-bed, full-service hospital in Rome, Georgia, with partnership from the oncology group at AdventHealth Gordon (69 beds) in Calhoun, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and managing a variety of hematologic malignancies and solid tumor cases.

1. Ability to build & grow as we expand and add a new location to expand services
2. The group consists of 1 physician and 3 APPs
3. Infusion services will be located in our new clinic, close to AdventHealth Redmond
4. Strong oncology specialty services available at two AdventHealth hospitals
5. Access to research support, clinical trials, and tumor boards
6. Practice support includes nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition, etc.
