Job description
1 week per month from July to December, with additional coverage as needed.
Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend call required, with a 24-hour call shift.
Some weekday call duties will be shared among employed providers. Call duties include answering questions from RNs about:
- Patients calling in with questions
- Patients receiving chemotherapy on that day
- Consults from the ED (minimal)
Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Patient load: 17 patients.
Support staff includes 1 Medical Assistant and several RNs. The pharmacy team will handle educational starts for chemotherapy.
The practice is housed under the same roof as radiation oncology.
