Hematology/Oncology Physician Locum Need
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: Night and weekend call required
Weekend Call: 24-hour call; includes 4 gratis onsite hours/day OT after that
Coverage: 2 3 weeks/month (3 preferred)
Start Date: June 16, 2025
Contract Length: Minimum 6 months

Cancer Center (Clinic) within Acute Care Hospital
Related Hospital Beds: 318
Clinic Exam Rooms: 10
Infusion Center: 18 bays + private rooms
Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics (18+)
Average Volumes:
new consults/week
infusion patients/day (approx. 50% chemotherapy)
Support Structure:
Nurses
Nurse Practitioner
Therapists
Hospitalist program
Imaging center adjacent
Support groups
Developing triage nurse center
Requirements:
Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
BLS and DEA required
ND License preferred (will license; IMLC accepted)
Minimum 2 years Hem/Onc experience
Strong experience in chemotherapy, biologics, hormone therapy
Broad exposure to cancer types preferred
Prior locums experience required
Credentialing:
60 days if already licensed in ND
90+ days if licensing needed
Clean background required for expedited credentialing
EMR: Cerner (Aria for oncology documentation)
